If
you ask a veteran runner what one piece of equipment you should invest
in no doubt you will hear him answer, "A good running shoe."
That's because a running shoe absorbs the impact of your body striking
the ground as you work out. Without a good shoe your bones will suffer
over time.
Does a little research before you purchase a running shoe. Running
shoes are designed to fit different types of feet differently. For example,
if your foot is pronated, you will want a shoe that can accommodate
that.
Make sure that you replace a good running shoe regularly. Even though
it can be costly to get new shoes, if the shoe wears out you can injure
yourself by using it for an extended period of time. If you have to
scrimp and save all your money, don't buy any other running gear and
invest in a quality shoe.
